All correspondence is via email.
Quoting: This is a complimentary, obligation free quote. Once you’ve chosen a style that suits you from our online designer range or opted for us to custom design for you, we’ll then email you a detailed quote. The quote is based on an approximate quantity of items required. All correspondence is via email only. Along with your quote, we’ll send you a T&Cs form, an Excel spreadsheet for your guest details and an information sheet to insert your personal details. Quantities may be changed at a later date once you have your final guest list together, this is purely a quote and we understand guest numbers can change along the way. If you haven’t found a style that suits you from our online designer range, then we can custom design for you. This will incur a ‘custom design’ fee.
Ordering: Once you’ve carefully looked over all the details in your quote and information provided, we then require a 50% deposit. Artwork will not commence until this deposit has been received or proof of payment has been received. We also require all details for your stationery items (ie times, wording, venue) prior to commencing your proof. We’ll not start on your proof until we receive these details along with your signed T&C’s form. To proceed to proofing stage we’ll also need your acceptance of our T&Cs by signing the form and returning it or quote ‘I accept’ in an email to us.
Time Frames, Proofing, Printing & Assembling Information: Please allow 3-5 working days from us receiving your details for your proof to be set up and emailed to you.We take pride in offering a very realistic on-screen proof, so this time is needed to achieve this. We then require you to THOROUGHLY check over all details and check all spelling. If you wish to make any changes to your proof, let us know via email and we’ll get back to you with the changes as soon as possible. We allow up to 3 sets of changes only which we’ve found ample to achieve the desired outcome, however if further changes are required, artwork time will be charged. A printed sample of your invite can be purchased for $20.00AUD.
When you’re happy with your proof and you’ve checked everything over (twice!), we require you to approve the artwork. Please note that once your approval has been given, no further changes can be made. We will require you to send your excel spreadsheet of your guest’s names prior to printing. Print approval must also be accompanied by payment in full, for your order to proceed. Client errors that are approved through the proofing process will be reprinted entirely at the clients expense; therefore it is the clients’ sole responsibility to ensure all copy is correct.
We aim to get your initial stationery to you 12 weeks before the wedding, unless other arrangements have been made. This means we need final approval and your guest list at least 4 weeks before they’re due to be sent to you. If you require your stationery earlier than specified then this will need to be in writing, in an email as an urgent fee of $50 may apply.
Only your initial stationery (ie Invitations, RSVP cards, Gifts Cards etc) will be arranged for this date. All other stationery (ie Menus, Placecards, Seating Charts etc) will be finalised 4 weeks prior to the event when you have received your RSVP’s back. We require no less than 2 weeks to have your ceremony/reception stationery complete.
On rare occasions your chosen material (ie paper/card choice) may be out of stock. In such cases, we’ll notify you immediately with your alternatives. Due to the nature of the business, where all items are personalised to suit a clients requirements, all sales are final. No refunds or exchanges.
Printed Guest’s Names: We email you an Address Database excel spreadsheet, please take note that this needs to be filled in exactly as we have sent it to you. We print directly from this and any mistakes made on this is not our responsibility. We suggest thoroughly checking over the spelling of guest’s names and addresses carefully. Please do not add in any extra spaces, etc as this will be printed. (How you type it, is how it will print!) Due to some font restrictions, please advise us of any unusual hyphens, punctuation marks, accents or apostrophes. Failing to do so may result in odd characters being printed on your guest names.
Envelopes: We do provide a variety of stock options for your stationery to be printed on, however ‘printed’ envelopes (Where guest details have been printed on the envelope) are only available in the following high quality stock: Flat white smooth, flat off white smooth and botany recycled (Botany can only have black printing). This will be noted on your proof. However if you do not require envelope printing, then we can most likely match your envelope stock to your chosen invitation stock.
Quantities: We do have an invitation order minimum of 30 invites. If you place an order for less than 30, you’ll automatically be invoiced for 30 invites. If you only have 20 guest names then the other 10 invites will be supplied without guest names printed. As mentioned previously the quantities on your quote may be changed at a later date once you have your list together. You’ll only be invoiced once we receive your final guest list. We highly recommend ordering at least 5 blank/spare invitations. This is to cover last minute guests you may have forgotten and to have one as a keepsake. We suggest ordering extra blanks to avoid an additional printing fee of $20.00 ($20.00 per extra print run) if names are added after the initial print run of the invites. Please note that colours may vary slightly from one print run to another.
In House Assembly: As we’re proud of the quality and originality of our invitations and stationery, which we feel makes us stand out from other stationers, we’re delighted to place our logo or website in a subtle, professional way on the back of all assembled and printed stationery. All wedding stationery is handmade so slight variations may occur between each item and any samples. We also hold the right to publish photos of your stationery on our webpage and social media pages. We do however consider any personal details that may be present on stationery items and are discreet with these details in photos displayed in the public arena. As we are an ABIA member, upon completion of your stationery we’ll register your name and email to give you the opportunity to rate us in the Australia Bridal Industry Academy Awards.
Payment: Full payment is required for your order to proceed to printing. We accept payment preferably via Direct Debit, otherwise Paypal. Please check if restrictions apply on your credit card as payment directly into our account may not be possible. If payment is made via Paypal, any fees incurred will be invoiced to you.
Postage & Delivery: Once your stationery is complete we’ll arrange delivery. WA Postage and Handling fees are based on Express Post rates. Standard rates are $16.00 for a standard small-medium box. For larger parcels it’s a minimum $25.00 P+H fee. Interstate and Overseas delivery fees will be higher, please check with us before proceeding with the quote. We’ll email you with a tracking number for you to follow your parcel. Wedding Invites WA will accept no responsibility, for loss or damage once the package has been posted. You are of course welcome to purchase insurance on your order, which you can nominate to be arranged when sending through your guest list.
